Renaissance Families:

Wednesday, May 16 is the PTA Meeting. Attached to this email is the amended agenda. Elections for the 2012-2013 PTA Executive Board will be taking place at this meeting. There are many positions currently without any candidates. Also attached to this email is a description of the PTA Executive Board Positions. If you are interested in being nominated for any available position, please attend the meeting and speak with Geri or Theresa.

All Parents: The "Welcome Back" packet can be downloaded below, full of important forms and information to help make your child's school year the best it can be. Please fill out the forms and return with your child on the first day of school, September 12, 2011. Welcome Back! and Important Forms

INFORMATION ABOUT SNOW STORM SCHOOL CLOSINGS:

In case of bad weather, we may decide to do one of the following things:

* close school for the entire day
* delay the start of school, or
* dismiss students at an earlier time.

Renaissance will generally follow the decision made by the Chancellor of the New York City department of Education. The Chancellor will make his decision by 6:00 AM.
